Pada Tugas Akhir ini diberi judul "Penyempurnaan Mekanisme Penarik Pneumatic Tyre Bead Breaker Tools Untuk Pelepasan dan Pemasangan Wheel Landing Gear Pesawat Grand Commander 680FL"�, yang merupakan lanjutan Tugas Akhir yang pernah dilakukan pada tahun 2016 oleh Yayat Ruchiyat pada TA-nya dengan judul "Penyelesaian Rancang Bangun Bagian Penarik Pneumatic Tyre Bead Breaker Tools Untuk Pelepasan Main Wheel Landing Gear Grand Commander 680FL". Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki desain yang telah dibuat pada Tugas Akhir sebelumnya sebagai latar belakang permasalahan dari topik Tugas Akhir yang diambil, dengan asumsi bahwa hasil rancang bangun sebelumnya sudah memenuhi kriteria rancangan yang diharapkan, namun terdapat beberapa kekurangan yang masih harus diperbaiki. Laporan Tugas Akhir ini diselesaikan dengan metode analisis dimana pelaksanaannya dilakukan melalui tahapan studi leteratur, observasi, pengujian, dan evaluasi dari hasil pengujian. Serta dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental dimana pelaksanaanya dilakukan melalui tahapan desain dan analisis, dan manufaktur. Tugas Akhir ini diselesaikan bersama dengan dua Tugas Akhir yang lain yang mengerjakan penyempurnaan bagian penahan serta penyempurnaan mekanisme pneumatik. Dalam Tugas Akhir ini telah diperoleh hasil dari penyempurnaan mekanisme penarik dari Pneumatic Tyre Bead Breaker Tools sebagaimana dimaksud di atas. Dari proses pengujian secara operasional pada proses pelepasan dan pemasangan roda pendarat uatama maupun roda pendarat depan dari pesawat Grand Commander 680FL didapat hasil bahwa proses pelepasan velg dari ban pada roda pendarat utama membutuhkan waktu 5 detik dan pada roda pendarat depan membutuhkan waktu 3 detik. Diharapkan hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini dapat digunakan sebagai sarana alat bantu praktikum pada perkuliahan Teknik Perawatan Pesawat Udara di Program Studi Teknik Aeronautika-Jurusan Teknik Mesin-POLBAN. In this Final Project with the title "Puller Mechanism Improvement of Pneumatic Tyre Bead Breaker Tools for Removal and Installation of Grand Commander 680FL's Wheel Landing Gear" is a continuation of the Final Project has been made in 2016 by Yayat Ruchiyat in her Final Project with the title "Finishing Design and Manufacture of Pneumatic Tyre Bead Breaker Tool's Puller Section for Removal of Grand Commander 680FL's Main Wheel Landing Gear". The Objective in this Final Project is to improve the design that have been made previously as the background of the problem of the topic drawn in this Final Project, with assume that the result in previous Final Project has been comply with an objective of the Final Project, but there are some deficiency that must be fixed. The final report completed by the methods of analysis with the implementation is done through the stages literature study, observation and survey, testing, and evaluation and analysis the result of the test. And is done by experimental method, the implementation is done by experimental stages of design and analysis, and manufacturing. This Final Project resolved along with two others who worked on the design and manufacture of retention and pneumatic system mechanism This Final Project is successfully completed design Pneumatic Tyre Bead Breaker Tools as mentioned above. The resulting tool has been successfully tested operationally in the removal and installation process of the main wheel 680FL Grand Commander. From the result of the Tools we know that the tools can remove the main wheel within 5 second and remove the nose wheel within 3 second of time. It is expected this tool can be used as tools in the practice of engineering lectures Aircraft maintenance at the Aeronautical Engineering Program-Department of Mechanical Engineering-POLBAN.
