Maksud penelitian untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Peranan Humas PT Grand Textile Industry Bandung dalam membentuk citra perusahaan melalui Program Corporate Social Responsibility “Distribusi Air Bersih” di Kelurahan Karang Pamulang Bandung. Adapun sub fokus yang digunakan adalah Peranan Humas sebagai Penasihat Ahli, Fasilitator Komunikasi, Fasilitator Proses Pemecahan Masalah, dan Teknisi Komunikasi. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan studi deskriptif. Wawancara mendalam, observasi non-partisipan, dokumentasi, serta studi pustaka adalah teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Informan penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik snowball sampling. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan peningkatan ketekunan, diskusi teman sejawat, dan membercheck. Teknik analisa data dilakukan dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian, Humas PT Grand Textile Industry Bandung sebagai, 1) Penasihat ahli dalam membentuk citra perusahaan melalui Program CSR “Distribusi Air Bersih” di Kelurahan Karang Pamulang Bandung dengan memperhatikan faktor penting yaitu aturan Perda No 8 Tahun 2002, perbaikan dan pemeliharaan saluran air, serta sikap ke masyarakat. Sehingga Humas dipercaya oleh pihak manajemen yakni Divisi Personalia untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi. Humas sebagai 2) Fasilitator komunikasi yaitu mendengarkan aspirasi masyarakat pada saat pengontrolan di lapangan maupun masyarakat yang melaporkan ke perusahaan. Selanjutnya aspirasi disampaikan kepada pihak manajemen melalui berita acara tertulis atau tatap muka. Kebijakan hasil rapat pimpinan, disampaikan kembali kepada masyarakat sehingga terjalin komunikasi timbal balik. Humas sebagai 3) Fasilitator proses pemecahan masalah menjadikan Humas bagian yang bertanggung jawab atas program ini, bersama dengan Divisi Personalia dan Departemen Utility. Humas berhak memberikan saran kepada pihak manajemen sebagai bentuk keterlibatannya pada rapat pimpinan. Humas sebagai 4) Teknisi komunikasi yaitu menyampaikan informasi bersifat teknis yang diterima dari Departemen Utility kepada masyarakat serta memahami tujuan pelaksanaan program CSR untuk membentuk citra perusahaan di Kelurahan Karang Pamulang Bandung. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah Peranan Humas PT Grand Textile Industry Bandung dalam membentuk citra perusahaan melalui Program CSR “Distribusi Air Bersih” di Kelurahan Karang Pamulang Bandung meliputi penasihat ahli, fasilitator komunikasi, fasilitator proses pemecahan masalah, dan teknisi komunikasi. Program ini dapat membentuk citra yang diharapkan oleh PT Grand Textile Industry di Kelurahan Karang Pamulang Bandung. Saran penelitian adalah agar Humas membuat news release dari pelaksanaan program CSR, serta menyimpan segala bentuk dokumentasi baik berupa foto, video, atau dokumen tertulis, dan memuat kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Humas di website perusahaan.

This research was conducted to identify and describe the role of Public Relations of PT Grand Textile Industry Bandung in forming the corporate image through Corporate Social Responsibility Program "Clean Water Distribution" in the village of Karang Pamulang Bandung. Therefore, sub focus which used in this research was the role of PR as an Expert Precriber, Communication Facilitator, Problem Solving Process Facilitator, and Communication Technician. This research was a qualitative research using descriptive study. Interviews, non-participant observation, documentation, and literature have been used as techniques of data collection. Informants were selected using snowball sampling technique. Test the validity of the data have been used enhanced persistence, discussion peers, and membercheck. Data analysis technique was done by the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results of this research showed that the PR PT Grand Textile Industry Bandung as an 1) Expert Precriber in forming the corporate image through CSR program "Clean Water Distribution" in the village of Karang Pamulang Bandung by considering important factors such as the rule of law that Regulation No. 8 of 2002, repaired and maintenance of plumbin, and the attitudes to the community. So PR was believed by management to resolve problems that occur in the program. PR as a 2) Communication Facilitator where PR listen to the aspirations of the community at the time of controlling or community who report to the company. Then, the aspirations submitted to the management by writing report or face to face.The policy as a result over a leadership meeting, send back to the community so can make two ways communication. 3) Problem Solving Process Facilitator that PR becames part of a team that take a responsibility of this program, with the Personalia Division and Department Utility. Public Relations have gave advices to management as a form of involvement in the leadership meeting. PR as a 4) Communications Technician, shared the information received from the Departement Utility to the community and understood the purpose of implementation CSR programs to forming the corporate image in the village of Karang Pamulang Bandung. The conclusion of this research was the role of Public Relations of PT Grand Textile Industry Bandung in forming the corporate image through CSR program "Clean Water Distribution" in the village of Karang Pamulang Bandung include PR as an Expert Precriber, Communication Facilitator, Problem Solving Process Facilitator, and Communication Technician. This program can forming wish image by PT Grand Textile Industry Bandung in the village of Karang Pamulang Bandung. Suggestions from this research, was expected PR to makes news release of CSR program, as well as storing documentation in the form of photos, video, or written document and publicize the activities at the company's website.
