Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peranan Seksi Humas Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Bandung melalui website dalam memberikan kemudahan informasi kepada pelanggaanya, untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut dianalisis mengenai bentuk kegiatan, pesan yang disampaikan, dan peranan Seksi Humas Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Bandung.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan adalah melalui wawancara, studi pustaka, dan penelusuran online.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu Seksi Humas Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 7 (tujuh) orang dengan menggunakan teknik sampel purposif sampling ditentukan 3 (tiga) orang untuk dijadikan sampel. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh Seksi Humas Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Bandung dalam memberikan informasi melalui website yaitu dengan cara meng update content, memberikan informasi melalui kegiatan WCS (Web Customer Service), isi pesan yang diberikan adalah informasi Air Bersih, Air Kotor, dan Informasi Pelayanan umum. Peranan Seksi Humas dan Protokol dalam memberikan Informasi melalui website baik karena memenuhi kebutuhan informasi yang diharapkan pelanggan dalam memberikan informasi.
Berdasarkan penjelasan di atas maka diambil kesimpulan bahwa peranan dalam memberikan informasi melalui website di Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Bandung baik, dan sudah sesuai dengan job description yang sudah ditetapkan.
Saran bagi Seksi Humas dan Protokol Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Bandung adalah Pada home website menambah content tentang opini air kotor agar pelanggan lebih mengetahui informasi Perusahaan.

The purpose of this research was to find out the role of public relation section of Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Bandung city, through website in giving the simplicity of information to its customers. To achieve the purpose above, the writer analyzed the activity, the message which is needed to be said and the role of public relation section of Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Bandung city.
The writer use descriptive method for this research, and the data collecting technique is done through interview, books study, and online searching.
The population of this research is the public relations section of Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) which is consist of seven people by using the purposive sampling technique. But the writer decided to take 3 people to come sampel. The result of the research showed that the type of activity that the public relation section did in giving information through website is by updating the content, information through WCS (Web Customer Service) and by making website month report, the content of message which given were about the information of clean water, dirty water and information of public service. part of Public Relations and Protocol role in giving information needed wich was expected by them in giving the information
According to the explanation above, the writer concludes that the role in giving information through website in Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) is running well, and fit with the adjusted jobdescriptions.
The writer hopes that website Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Bandung City is add more content about the opinion of clean and dirty water.
