Sistem informasi absensi sidik jari adalah suatu sistem (software) yang digunakan oleh PUSLITBANG Sumber Daya Air Bandung untuk melakukan evaluasi dan monitoring kehadiran para pegawai sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku, dengan kata lain adalah untuk melihat tingkat disiplin para karyawan. Serta memberikan informasi yang selengkap-lengkapnya kepada kepala bagian dan bagian SDK yang berhubungan dengan kedisiplinan karyawan berupa absensi kehadiran kerja. Adapun tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa besar peranan dari Sistem informasi Absensi sidik jari Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Pegawai pada PUSLITBANG Sumber Daya Air Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Untuk mengetahui implementasi dari Sistem Informasi Absensi Sidik jari yang kini sedang berjalan di PUSLITBANG Sumber Daya Air Bandung, maka dapat dilihat dari Flow Map, Diagram Konteks (DK) dan Data Flow Diagram (DFD). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik penyebaran kuesioner. Metode perhitungannya menggunakan statistik analisis Korelasi Pearson (untuk uji Validitas), uji reliabilitas, Koefisien Determinasi, dan Uji Z untuk menguji hipotesis dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 12.0 For Windows. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan yaitu kategori untuk tanggapan responden terhadap Sistem Informasi Absensi Sidik jari dinyatakan BAIK dengan persentase 87,87% dan Tanggapan responden mengenai disiplin kerja pada PUSLITBANG SDA dikategorikan BAIK dengan persentase 78,36%, dengan tingkat reliabilitas sebesar 0,861 untuk sistem informasi absensi sidik jari dan 0,732 untuk disiplin kerja pegawai. Dalam uji hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan meghitung korelasi antara TX dan TY menghasilkan 0,491 dengan taraf signifikan 1% ini berarti tolak hipotesis 0, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sistem Informasi Absensi Sidik Jari berperan terhadap Disiplin Kerja Pegawai pada PUSLITBANG Sumber Daya Air Bandung. Dengan persentase sebesar 24,10% sisanya 75,90% dipengaruhi faktor lain.

Fingerprint attendance information system is a system (software) used by PUSLITBANG Center for Water Resources in Bandung to conduct an evaluation and monitoring of the presence of the employee in accordance with applicable regulations, in other words is to see the level of discipline the employees. As well as provide information as complete as possible to the head part and the SDK related disciplined work attendance of employees in the form of absenteeism. The purpose of this study is to determine how big the role of information systems fingerprint Attendance Discipline Against Employees Working on PUSLITBANG Water Resources Research and Development Center, Bandung. The method used in this study is descriptive and verifikatif. To know the implementation of Fingerprint Time Attendance Information System which is now under way at the Center for Water Resources Bandung, it can be seen from the Flow Map, Context Diagram (DK) and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD). Data collection techniques using a technique for distributing the questionnaire. Calculation method of statistical analysis using Pearson correlation (for test validity), test reliability, the coefficient of determination, and the Z test to test the hypothesis with the aid of SPSS 12.0 For Windows applications. The research has been done is a category for respondents to the Information Systems Fingerprint Attendance GOOD expressed by percentage of respondents 87.87% and the response of work at the Center for Water Resources discipline GOOD categorized by the percentage of 78.36%, with a reliability level of 0.861 for the information system fingerprint attendance and 0.732 for the discipline of employee work. In hypothesis testing is done by calculate the correlation between the TX and TY produces 0.491 with a significant level of 1% this means reject the hypothesis 0, then it can be concluded that the Fingerprint Attendance Information System contributes to Discipline Employees Working on PUSLITBANG Water Resources Research and Development Center, Bandung. With the percentage of the remaining 24.10% is 75.90% influenced by other factors.
