Tugas akhir ini melakukan perancangan dan pembuatan adapter power section APU TSCP 700 Series untuk engine stand yang bertujuan agar dapat dilakukan overhaul. Pada perancangan dan pembuatan adapter ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pengerjaan yaitu studi literature untuk mendapatkan data mengenai bentuk desain dan fungsi adapter, melakukan pengukuran pada existing engine stand dan power section untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perancangan. Perancangan dan analisis kekuatan struktur adapter menggunakan software autodesk inventor 2015, menyiapkan perencanaan manufaktur dengan memilih material yang disesuaikan dari hasil analisis dan pemilihan jenis manufaktur. Proses manufaktur dilakukan menggunakan mesin CNC. Adapter yang telah dibuat dan dipasang pada engine stand dapat memutar power section hingga 360⁰. Material yang digunakan yaitu St60 dengan kekuatan tarik 335 MPa. Tegangan maksimum yang terjadi sebesar 59.37 MPa sehingga safety factor yang didapat sebesar 5.6 maka adapter yang telah dibuat dipastikan memiliki struktur yang aman untuk digunakan. This final project consist of designing and manufacturing of adapter power section APU TSCP 700 series for engine stand, so the maintenance process can be done. The designing and manufacturing of adapter achieved by a method such as study of literature to determine the form of the adapter structure and it's function, by measuring the component for completing the requirement list. The designing and structure analysis are done using software autodesk inventor 2015, preparing the manufacture process by choosing material type that referred to analysis result and also choosing the type of manufacture process. The manufacture process is done by CNC Machine. The adapter that has been contracted and installed to the engine must have capability to rotate the power section around 360 degrees. The type of the material of adapter is St60 with value of yield strength is 335 MPa. The applied maximum stress is 59.37 MPa so the safety factor is 5.6 so that the structure of the adapter is guaranteed to have safe condition.
