Perkembangan industri kopi membuat kopi menjadi kebutuhan pada kalangan tertentu. Kopi yang biasanya diminum dalam kemasan atau satu gelas kopi menjadi hobi dan suatu gaya hidup. Kebutuhan meminum segelas kopi membuat kalangan tertentu, pecinta kopi, mempunyai keingintahuan besar terhadap proses pembuatan segelas kopi tersebut. Bumi Kiwari, selain kedai kopi, adanya kebun kopi yang dimilikinya menjadi salah satu obyek untuk mengetahui proses pembuatan segelas kopi. Mulai dari buah cherry yang ditanam, dipetik, di proses giling, dijemur, dibakar, sampai proses penyeduhan kopi di kedai kopi Bumi Kiwari. Adanya proses pembuatan kopi tersebut menjadi potensi Bumi Kiwari untuk menjadi obyek wisata edukasi kopi. Dilihat dari pasar pecinta kopi seperti komunitas kopi, pecinta kopi rumahan, hingga pengusaha kedai kopi yang membutuhkan edukasi kopi dari hulu hingga hilir membuat permintaan wisata edukasi kopi meningkat. Tidak hanya itu, pengunjung setia Bumi Kiwari pun menjadi target dari wisata edukasi kopi tersebut. Dengan adanya potensi tersebut, penulis membuat proyek perancangan paket wisata kopi di Bumi Kiwari untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut. Paket tersebut ada 2, yaitu paket wisata kopi One Day Trip dan paket wisata kopi 2 Days Nights.
