Laboratorium Geosintetik memiliki aset tetap berupa peralatan laboratorium yang bernilai tinggi dan dalam kondisi masih baru. Belum optimalnya kegiatan pemeliharaan peralatan laboratorium yang dilakukan, dilihat dari tidak adanya jadwal pemeliharaan yang tertulis. Kegiatan pemeliharaan peralatan di laboratorium geosintetik berdasarkan elemen-elemen pemeliharaan belum mencapai tingkat excellence. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang pemeliharaan peralatan di laboratorium geosintetik dari segi elemen-elemen pemeliharaan yang meliputi Leadership and People, Methods and Processes, Systems and Technology, dan Materials and Physical Plant. Prosedur proyek dimulai dengan identifikasi proyek, menetapkan tujuan proyek, studi kepustakaan, pengumpulan data, perancangan pemeliharaan peralatan. Hasil perancangan pemeliharaan peralatan diantaranya kebutuhan pelatihan, jadwal pemeliharaan, jadwal kalibrasi, rancangan kebutuhan material, formulir untuk kehandalan, formulir pengendalian persediaan, jadwal housekeeping. Kata kunci: pemeliharaan excellence, rancangan pemeliharaan.

Geosynthetic laboratory has fixed assets. They are laboratory equipments which are high valued and new. Laboratory equipments maintenance activities are not optimal yet. It can be seen from the absence of written maintenance schedule. The maintenance activities of equipments in the geosynthetic laboratory based on elements of maintenance that has not reached the level of maintenance excellence yet. The purpose of this study is to design the maintenance of equipments in the geosynthetic laboratory in terms of maintenance elements including Leadership and People, Methods and Processes, Systems and Technology, and Materials and Physical Plant. The procedure is started by the identification of project, determining project objectives, literature study, data collection, design of equipment maintenance. The result of design the maintenance of equipment is including training requirements, maintenance schedules, calibration schedules, need design of materials, reliability forms, inventory control forms, and housekeeping schedule Keywords: maintenance excellence, maintenance design.
