Seiring dengan berkembangannya informasi di dalam perusahaan atau instansi, pengolahan informasi merupakan hal terpenting yang harus diperhatikan. Saat ini pendaftaran, penjadwalan, pemberian nilai masih dilakukan secara langsung karena belum adanya sarana yang dibutuhkan. Untuk meningkatkan lagi pelayanannya , maka Akper RSHS berencana membuat sistem informasi Akademik yang berbasis web. Perencanaan sistem informasi akademik ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan studi kasus pada Akper RSHS Bandung dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari wawancara dan observasi serta berdasarkan dokumen-dokumen yang ada pada Akper RSHS Bandung .Metode pengembangan system yang digunakan adalah waterfall adapun alat yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem yaitu use case, activity diagram, sequence diagram, , calloboration diagram, class diagram, component diagram, Deployment View. Sofware yang digunakan untuk membangun sistem informasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP sebagai front end, Mysql sebagai back end dan Macromedia dreamweaver 8 sebagai software pendukung desain tampilan website yang dinamis dan interaktif. Melalui perancangan sistem informasi akademik berbasis web di akademik keperawatan RSHS Bandung, penulis mengharapkan pengolahan data pendaftaran, jadwal, nilai menjadi lebih cepat, efektif dan efesien. Dan bagi Akper RSHS diharapkan sistem informasi yang telah dibuat dapat bermanfaat dalam kegiatankegiatan akademik.
