PT. Rekayasa industri (Rekin) adalah BUMN yang bergerak pada bidang EPC (Engineering, Procurement, & Consturction). PT. Rekin melakukan inventarisasi aset menggunakan sistem informasi inventarisasi aset untuk mencatat aset korporat dan aset proyek. Sebanyak 251 aset pada proyek Sumpal antara lain berupa AC, Camera Digital, Drone, Mesin Absensi, dan Mesin Pompa hilang sehingga menimbulkan setidaknya 100 juta rupiah kerugian bagi PT. Rekin. Tujuan proyek ini adalah untuk membuat sistem kemanan aset berbasis Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) dalam proses inventarisasi aset tetap di PT. Rekin. Sistem keamanan berbasis RFID dalam proses inventarisasi aset tetap dirancang menggunakan metode Waterfall Models from Software Development Life Cycle Models (Yurindra, 2017), yang meliputi 5 tahap yakni kebutuhan sistem (system requirement), spesifikasi kebutuhan sistem (system requirement spesification), perancangan sistem (software design), pemrograman (software implementation), dan pengujian. Teknik pengumpulan data menerapkan observasi ilmiah, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang dianalisis meliputi data primer yaitu aset korporat dan data sekunder berupa dokumen inventarisasi aset Integrated Facility Services (IFS). Hasil proyek ini menunjukan, rancangan sistem keamanan aset tetap berbasis RFID untuk PT. Rekin yang meliputi Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) dan Design Interface. Rancangan sistem tersebut sudah diaplikasikan menjadi sebuah sistem keamanan aset dengan basis web systems yang dapat meciptakan dan meningkatkan keamanan aset tetap di PT. Rekin. Selain itu, teknologi RFID dapat membantu mempercepat proses pelaksanaan inventarisasi aset khususnya pada pendataan, pencatatan, dan pelaporan aset proyek dan korporat PT. Rekin.

The system design has been applied into an asset security system based on web systems that can create and improve the security of fixed assets at PT. Rekin. In addition, RFID technology can help accelerate the process of implementing asset inventory, especially in data collection, recording and reporting of project and corporate assets of PT. Rekin.
