Fungsi utama Kolam Retensi Cieunteung adalah untuk mengurangi residu genangan air di wilayah Kabupaten Bandung Selatan, namun belum adanya sistem pemeliharaan mengakibatkan kondisi kolam tidak terpelihara dan tidak dapat menampung air luapan Sungai Citarum secara optimum, bahkan menambah genangan di area lain. Tujuan proyek ini adalah untuk menghasilkan rancangan sistem pemeliharaan bagi Kolam Retensi Cieunteung berdasarkan Public Water System Maintenance yang terdiri dari Staffing Organization, Responsibilities and Certifications, Operation and Maintenance Control Procedures, Emergency Response Procedures, Safety Program,Water Instrument Quality Procedures, Record keeping and feeling Procedures. Landasan teori yang digunakan adalah Public Water System Maintenance Planning, dan landasan normatif berupa peraturan mengenai pemeliharaan drainase dan bangunan air. Proyek ini menerapkan pendekatan kualitaif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menerapkan triangulasi yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Jenis data terdiri dari data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara, serta data sekunder yang bersumber dari studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari proyek ini berupa rancangan sistem pemeliharaan aset khusus untuk Kolam Retensi Cieunteung yang mengacu pada teori Public Water System Maintenance meliputi rancangan struktur organisasi dan tenaga kerja yang dirancang menggunakan staffing organization dan perundang-undangan mengenai ketenagakerjaan, prosedur pemeliharaan berupa Checklist Maintenance yang didapatkan dari faktor operation and maintenance control procedures, rancangan emergency procedures berupa poster yang dapat digunakan oleh pekerja lapangan dan pengguna publik saat keadaan darurat terjadi, penyediaan rambu peringatan dan APD (Alat Pelindung Diri) untuk Safety Program, rancangan WQM (Water Quality Monitoring) berdasarkan teori water instrument quality. Seluruh data yang disajikan pada Rancangan Kartu Kontrol Pemeliharaan berdasarkan record keeping dan feeling.

The main function of the Cieunteung Retention Pond is to reduce waterlogging residues in the area of South Bandung Regency, but the absence of a maintenance system results in the condition of the pond being poorly maintained and unable to accommodate the Citarum River overflow water optimally, even adding inundation in other areas. The aim of this project is to produce a maintenance system design for the Cieunteung Retention Pool based on Public Water System Maintenance consisting of Staffing Organizations, Resposibilities and Certifications, Operation and Maintenance Control Procedures, Emergency Response Procedures, Safety Programs, Water Instrument Quality Procedures, Record keeping and feeling Procedures. The theoretical foundation used is the Public Water System Maintenance Planning, and the normative foundation in the form of regulations regarding the maintenance of drainage and water structures. This project was carried out using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques carried out through triangulation, namely observation, interviews, study documentation. The type of data consists of primary data collected through observation and interviews, as well as secondary data sourced from documentation studies. The results of this project are in the form of a special asset maintenance system for the Cieunteung Retention Pool which refers to the theory of Public Water System Maintenance including the design of organizational structures and workforce that are designed using staffing organizations and legislation regarding employment, maintenance procedures in the form of Maintenance Checklist obtained from factors of operation and maintenance control procedures, design of emergency procedures in the form of posters that can be used by field workers and public users when an emergency occurs, provision of warning signs and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for Safety Programs, WQM (Water Quality Monitoring) design based on water theory instrument quality. And all the data obtained is written on the Maintenance Control Card Design based on record keeping and feeling.
