Pembangkit listrik tenaga minihidro merupakan salah satu energi terbarukan yang sudah dikembangkan cukup lama. Salah satu sungai yang dapat dijadikan pembangkit listrik terletak di Desa Cikoneng sungai Pasir Jambu Ciwidey Kabupaten Bandung. Data perencanaan awal dengan head desain (Hnett) = 64.16 m, debit disain per unit (Q) = 5 m3/s. Perancangan turbin meliputi daya output turbin, pemilihan turbin, kecepatan turbin, kecepatan spesifik turbin, diameter turbin, elevasi titik pusat turbin, spiral casing, runner, draftube, serta pra desain power house. Perancangan didasari berdasarkan perhitungan pedoman USBR Engineering Monograph 20 . Hasil perhitungan dijadikan sebagai komparasi perancangan serta dibandingkan dengan data racangan pabrikan. Hasil spesifikasi turbin yang didapatkan sebagai berikut : Menggunakan 2 unit turbin francis horizontal, daya keluaran/unit (Pt) = 2959 KW (2.95 MW) , Putaran turbin (N) = 750 rpm, efisiensi turbin (Î÷t) = 0.94, (ns) = 244,645 rpm (m-kW) , runaway speed = 1418.89 rpm, diameter runner (D3) = 0.788 m, diemater pelepasan = 0.872 ,berat runner (WR) = 130 kg, berat turbin total (WT) = 3030 kg . Mini hydro power plant is a renewable energy that has been developed for a long time. One of the rivers that can be used as a power plant is located in Cikoneng Village, Pasir Jambu Ciwidey river, Bandung Regency. Initial planning data with design head (Hnett) = 64.16 m, design discharge per unit (Q) = 5 m3 / s. Turbine design includes turbine output power, turbine selection, turbine speed, turbine specific speed, turbine diameter, turbine center point elevation, spiral casing, runner, draftube, and power house pre-design. The design is based on the calculation of the USBR Engineering Monograph 20 guidelines. The calculation result is used as a design comparison and compared with the manufacturer's concoction data. The results of the turbine specifications obtained are as follows: Using 2 horizontal francis turbine units, output power / unit (Pt) = 2959 KW (2.95 MW), turbine rotation (N) = 750 rpm, turbine efficiency (Î÷t) = 0.94, (ns) = 244,645 rpm (m-kW), runaway speed = 1418.89 rpm, runner diameter (D3) = 0.788 m, discharge diemater = 0.872, runner weight (WR) = 130 kg, total turbine weight (WT) = 3030 kg.
