Penelitian dengan judul Perbedaan Penerapan Akuntansi Dilihat Dari Kategori Jenis Kelamin, Tingkat Pendidikan Pemilik/Manajer UKM, Pengalaman Usaha Pemilik/Manajer UKM, Umur Perusahaan, dan Omzet Perusahaan (Studi Pada Usaha Kecil Menengah di Kabupaten Jember) bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan penerapan akuntansi dilihat dari kategori jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan pemilik/manajer UKM, pengalaman usaha pemilik/manajer UKM, umur perusahaan, dan omzet perusahaan.
Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer yang diperoleh sacara langsung dari para pemilik UKM di Kabupaten Jember melalui kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah UKM di Kabupaten Jember. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Untuk analisis data, penulis menggunakan analisis Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA).
Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dapat dinyatakan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan penerapan akuntansi dilihat dari kategori jenis kelamin. Terdapat perbedaan penerapan akuntansi dilihat dari kategori tingkat pendidikan pemilik/manajer UKM. Terdapat perbedaan penerapan akuntansi dilihat dari kategori pengalaman usaha pemilik/manajer UKM. Terdapat perbedaan penerapan akuntansi dilihat dari kategori umur perusahaan. Dan, terdapat perbedaan penerapan akuntansi dilihat dari kategori omzet perusahaan.

The research with title The Differences in Application of Accounting Seen From Category Gender, Owners/Managers Education Level of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Owners/Managers Experience Business of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Age of the Company, and Sales of the Company (Study on Small and Medium Enterprises in Jember) aims to determine the differences in the application of accounting views of the category of gender, education level of owners/managers of SMEs, the experience business of owners/managers of SMEs, age of the company, and sales of the company.
Data used in this research is primary data obtained directly from the owners of SMEs in Jember through questionnaires. The population in this study is SMEs in Jember. Sampling using Proportional Stratified Random sampling method. For data analysis, the authors use the analysis Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA).
The result of hypothesis testing shown that there are no differences in the application of accounting from the category of gender. There are differences in the application of accounting from the category level of education of owner/managers of SMEs. There are differences in the application of accounting from the category of business experience of the owners/managers of SMEs. There are differences in the application of accounting from the category of firm age. And, there are differences in the application of accounting from the category of company sales.
