Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pola Komunikasi Antarpribadi Antara Guru Dan Murid Pada Proses Pembentukan Karakter Budaya Sunda Sejak Remaja Awal Di Smp Yas Kota Bandung yang dilihat dari proses komunikasi dan hambatan komunikasi. Metode Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan studi deskriptif. Teknik penentuan informan menggunakan teknin Purposive Sampling, dengan informan kunci sejumlah dua orang dan pendukung tiga orang. Data diperoleh melalui observasi non partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Adapun teknis analisa data yang digunakan yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data,pengumpulan data. penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan evaluasi Hasil Penelitian diperoleh bahwa proses komunikasi yang terjadi berjalan lancar, guru dan murid bisa memerankan peran sebagai komunikator. Dalam pembentukan karakter budaya sunda guru menekankan nilai tatakrama, bahasa dan budaya. Hambatan komunikasi yang terjadi murid malu untuk bertanya serta berkomunikasi dengan bahasa sunda serta tidak membiasakan diri dalam menanamkan karakter budaya sunda di kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulan proses komunikasi yang terjalin antara guru dan murid dalam proses pembentukan karakter budaya sunda berjalan dengan baik, komunikasi yang terjalin secara dua arah. Hambatan komunikasi yang terjadi karena murid takut dan malu dalam berkomunkasi bahasa sunda. Saran bagi guru harus berkomunikasi lebih terbuka dengan muridnya agar pesan bisa tersampaikan dengan baik dan murid tidak malu bertanya. Murid harus bisa membiasakan diri menanamkan karakter budaya sunda di kehidupan sehari-hari serta menghilangkan rasa malu bertanya dan takut salah dalam berkomunikasi.

Conclusion the communication process that is created between teacher and student in the process of the formation of the character of the Sundanese culture goes well, communications that are interwoven in two directions. Communication barriers happened since fear and embarrassment in the berkomunkasi language Advice for teachers should communicate more openly with their students, so the message can be read by the disciples and not ashamed to ask. Pupils should be able to get used to infuse the character of Sundanese culture in everyday life as well as eliminate the shame of asking and fear in communicating.
