Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan maksud untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Pola Komunikasi Fotografer di Komunitas Hobi Foto Bandung (HFB) Dalam Upaya Berbagi Informasi Tentang Teknik Foto. Adapun sub fokusyang digunakan adalah Proses dan Hambatan Komunikasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi non-partisipan, dokumentasi, serta studi pustaka, seperti referensi buku, penelitian terdahulu, dan internet searching. Informan penelitian dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan peningkatan ketekunan, diskusi teman sejawat, dan membercheck. Teknik analisa data dilakukan dengan tahapan reduksi data, klasifikasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa ada dua indikator yaitu proses dan hambatan komunikasi. Proses Komunikasi yang ditujukan adalah dengan mengupload hasil karya ke facebook Komunitas Hobi Foto Bandung (HFB). Kemudian para fotografer di komunitas tersebut saling share mengenai setelan kamera. Lalu dengan kegiatan hunting foto agar menghimbau ikut berpartisipasi dan silaturahmi sesama fotografer di komunitas tersebut dan ajang saling share mengenai teknik foto. Hambatan Komunikasi yang menonjol adalah soal waktu, karena tidak semua fotografer mampu menyisihkan waktunya terus menerus di komunitas Hobi Foto Bandung tersebut dikarenakan pekerjaan, rumah tangga dan lain-lain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini Pola Komunikasi Fotografer di Komunitas Hobi Foto Bandung (HFB) Dalam Upaya Berbagi Informasi Tentang Teknik Foto adalah dimana proses komunikasi didalam Komunitas tersebut berupa upload karya foto di facebook dan seringkali hunting. Hambatannya semua di soal waktu karena waktu juga bisa menghalangi komunikasi di Komunitas Hobi Foto Bandung tersebut. Saran dari penelitian ini Pola Komunikasi Fotografer tidak selalu harus hunting maupun hanya upload foto saja tapi dari obrolan-obrolan ringan sambil minum kopi karena di komunitas ini terbilang disiplin akan informasi.

This research was carried out with the intention to identify and describe the photographer communication pattern in Hobi Foto Bandung (HFB) community in efforts to spread information on photography techniques. There are two focuses on this research which are The Process and The Communication Difficulty. Descriptive qualitative was used in this research. The researcher used in-depth interview, non-participant observation, documentation, and some literature reviews such as reference books, previous research, and internet searching are used as the data collecting method. Purposive sampling method was used in order to get the necessary data sources. Next, validity test was done using member check, discussion with friends, and also persistence research. Finally, data analyzing was done using data reduction stages, data clarification, and conclusion. Throughout the research, the researcher found that there are two indicators which are process and communication difficulty. Communication Process was done by uploading their masterpiece into Hobi Foto Bandung (HFB) community’s Facebook. Then, those photographers in the community will share their preference camera setting. Afterwards, they will make a ‘hunting’ event so that the members will get the opportunity to participate and meet each other while sharing their photography techniques. Communication Difficulty biggest factor that appears was about time, because it was rather difficult to find some spare time for the community since they got their own personal activity such as works, family, etc.A conclusion can be drawn from this research namely Photographer Communication Pattern in Hobi Foto Bandung (HFB) Community in Efforts to Spread Information on Photography Techniques was that the communication process inside the community in the form of uploading photo work into community’s Facebook and ‘hunting’. While the main communication obstacle for the community was mainly time management. Finally, the researcher suggests that there are still many ways to keep the communication going on except ‘hunting’ and uploading photo work. For instance, a light conversation while drinking a cup of coffee would be good since this community could be called discipline when it comes to information sharing.
