Heat Exchanger (HX) adalah alat penukar kalor dimana dalam sistem refrigerasi fungsinya untuk menambah efek refrigerasi. Secara teori perpindahan kalor bergerak dari temperatur yang panas ke temperatur yang lebih rendah. Pertukaran panas tersebut menghasilkan efek subcooled dan superheat pada sistem refrigerasi. Proses pertukaran kalor pada sistem pipa HX mempunyai selisih 2⁰C antara masukan dan keluaran masing-masing pipa HX. Efek refrigerasi yang dihasilkan untuk sistem menggunakan HX sebesar 156,99 kJ/kg. Nilai COPaktual untuk sistem yang menggunakan HX sebesar 3,01. Dengan efek refrigerasi yang lebih besar menghasilkan chilling time kabin yang lebih cepat, yaitu chilling time untuk sistem yang menggunakan HX selama 31 menit lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan data perancangan. Heat Exchanger (HX) is a heat exchanger where in refrigeration system its function is to add refrigeration effect. In theory, the movement moves from a hot temperature to a lower temperature. The heat exchange produces subcooled and superheat effects on the refrigeration system. The heat exchange process in the HX pipe system has a difference of 2⁰C between the input and output of each of the HX pipes. The resulting refrigeration effect for the system uses HX of 156.99 kJ/kg. The COPactual value for systems using HX is 3.01. With a larger refrigeration effect results in faster chilling time cabin, which is chilling time for systems that use HX for 31 minutes faster than with design data.
