Wing in ground effect merupakan salah satu teknologi pesawat udara yang dikembangkan karena adanya efek downwash yang ditimbulkan oleh sayap pesawat ketika terbang dekat dengan permukaan tanah. Efek ini yang dimanfaatkan sebagai gaya angkat pada pesawat wing in ground effect. Sehingga pesawat ini hanya terbang 1-2 meter diatas permukaan tanah maupun air. Kehandalan dan efisiensi yang tinggi di bandingkan kapal laut maka pesawat ini dapat menjadi alat transportasi laut terbarukan. Tujuan utama dari proposal ini adalah mengetahui kekuatan struktur dari pesawat model wing in ground effect, mendapatkan model CAD wing in ground effect dengan simulasi kekuatan struktur, dan menciptakan produk pesawat model dengan Wing in ground effect yang harapannya dapat diterapkan di Indonesia dalam skala besar. Metode yang akan dilakukan akan dimulai dari studi literatur mengenai Wing in ground effect, mengetahui kekuatan struktur terutama wing loading, juga mendapatkan model Computer Aided Design model pesawat Wing in ground effect dengan menggunakan software Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014, pengujian terbang dan terakhir evaluasi serta penyusunan laporan akhir. Wing in ground effect is one of the aircraft technology developed due to downwash effects caused by wing aircraft when flying close to the ground surface. This effect is used as a lifting force on the aircraft wing-in-ground effect. So that this plane just flew 1-2 feet above the ground or water. The reliability and high efficiency compared to the ship's aircraft can be renewable marine transportation. The main purpose of this proposal was to determine the strength of the structure of the model aircraft wing in ground effect, get CAD model of wing-in-ground effect with simulated force structure, and create product models with Wing aircraft in ground effect which can be applied in Indonesia hopes on a large scale. The method would be to start from the study of literature on the Wing in ground effect, knowing the strength of the structure, especially the wing loading, also get computer-aided design model of the plane model Wing-in-ground effect using the software Autodesk Inventor Professional 2014, flight testing and final evaluation and report preparation end.
