Conveyor merupakan salah satu jenis alat pengangkut yang berfungsi untuk mengangkut material secara horizontal atau vertical dan digerakkan oleh motor penggerak atau gravitasi. Fungsi Belt conveyor merupakan pesawat pengangkut yang digunakan untuk memindahkan muatan dalam bentuk satuan atau curah dengan arah horizontal dari suatu sistem operasi yang satu ke sistem operasi yang lain dalam suatu line proses produksi yang menggunakan belt sebagai penghantar muatannya. Dalam industri farmasi conveyor sering dilengkapi dengan sensor untuk identifikasi produk isi dan produk kosong pada kemasan obat karena sering terjadi kesalahan dalam pengemasan produk. Dari hasil pembuatan conveyor, conveyor dapat menyortir produk kosong dan produk isi, produk bisa langsung banyak tanpa harus menunggu satu produk di eksekusi. In the pharmaceutical industry are often equipped with a sensor conveyor for identification the contents of the product and on the packaging of medicinal products empty because of frequent errors in product packaging. From the results of the manufacture of conveyor, sorting conveyor can empty the product and the product contents, many products can directly without having to wait for one product in executions.
