Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi perempuan ditampilkan dalam teks di dalam Novel Diary Pramugari : ÃâSeks, Cinta & KehidupanÃâ. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka dimunculkan pertanyaan tentang bagaimana posisi subjek-objek dan posisi penulis-pembaca dalam teks mengenai penggambaran perempuan di dalam novel tersebut.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan desain penelitian analisis wacana kritis Sara Mills. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi, studi kepustakaan, dan penelusuran data online. Informan penelitian dipilih sebanyak 4 orang, yaitu 2 informan yang pernah membaca novel dan 2 informan pramugari, dengan asumsi bahwa informan tersebut bisa membantu menjawab permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa posisi subjek adalah teks, dimana subjek terwakili oleh tokoh Igo. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah perempuan. Dimana perempuan ditampilkan dalam sebuah teks cerita, bukan menampilkan dirinya sendiri. Maka dari itu, objek pada teks novel ini sering kali menjadi bagian pelengkap subjek (teks dalam perspektif penulis laki-laki) dalam penceritaan tersebut. Posisi penulis yaitu peneliti sendiri, peneliti memposisikan pembaca sebagai perempuan /laki-laki & penulis novel berada di dalam lingkaran dalam artian,penulis novel memposisikan dirinya sebagai perempuan. Posisi pembaca,pembaca seolaholah akan merasa dirinya menjadi subjek.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini subjek sebagai pemegang kekuasaan dalam budaya patriarki merepresentasikan kecantikan objek berdasarkan ciri fisik, maka objek tidak bisa mendefinisikan dirinya sesuai dengan apa yang seharusnya,tetapi terpengaruh dari pemikiran subjek.Saran : Perempuan harus bisa memposisikan dirinya agar tidak lagi menjadi subordinat dibawah pengaruh patriarki. Selain itu, pembaca harus kritis & bisa memposisikan dirinya sebagai penulis & sebagai pembaca agar pesan yang tersampaikan tidak salah arti.

This study aims to determine how the representation of women in the text displayed on the Novel Diary Stewardess: "Sex, Love & Life". To achieve these objectives, it raised the question of how the subject-object position and the position of writer-reader in the text regarding the portrayal of women in the novel.The method used in this study is a qualitative research design with Sara Mills of critical discourse analysis. Data collection techniques used were interviews, documentation, library research and online data retrieval. Informants were selected by 4 people, namely two informants who had read the novel and 2 informants flight attendants, with the assumption that the informants could help answer the issues raised in this study.Results of this study indicate that the position of the subject is the text, in which subjects are represented by figures Igo. Objects in this study were women. Where women are shown in a text story, not the show itself. Therefore, the text of the novel object is often a complementary part of the subject (the author of the text in the men's perspective) in the storytelling. The position of the researcher's own author, researcher positioning the reader as a woman / man and author of the novel are in a circle in a sense, the author of the novel positioning himself as a woman. The position of the reader, the reader will feel as if he was the subject.The conclusion of this research that holds the subject in a patriarchal culture represent objects of beauty based on physical characteristics, then the object can not define itself according to what it should be, but it detracted from the subject of thought.Tip: Women should be able to position itself to no longer be subordinated under the influence of patriarchy. In addition, the reader should be critical and could position himself as a writer and as a reader that the message conveyed was not wrong meaning.
