Kebutuhan akan informasi saat ini semakin meningkat seiring denganbr / perkembangan teknologi, begitu pula kebutuhan informasi akademik di SMAbr / Sandhy Putra Bandung. SMA Sandhy Putra Bandung yang terletak di Jalan Radiobr / Palasari Dayeuhkolot Kabupaten Bandung adalah sebuah instansi pendidikan,br / tentunya tidak terlepas dari kebutuhan adanya suatu sistem informasi yangbr / terintegrasi sehingga dapat menyajikan suatu informasi yang dapat memenuhibr / semua kebutuhan dan memberikan kontribusi bagi kemajuan sekolah. Tujuan daribr / penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sistem yang berjalan, merancang bangun sistem,br / menguji dan mengimplementasikan sistem akademik di SMA Sandhy Putrabr / Bandung.br / Dalam penelitian skripsi ini, metode penelitian yang digunakan olehbr / penulis adalah metode deskriptif, sebagai upaya untuk mendapatka gambaran danbr / penjelasan mengenai keadaan objek penelitian berdasarkan fakta-fakta yangbr / tampak. Sedangkan untuk metode pengumpulan data penulis menggunakanbr / metode wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi dalam pengembanganbr / sistem, penulis menggunakan metode pendekatan prototyping (prototype). Untukbr / pemodelan sistem penulis menggunakan metode perancangan terstruktur denganbr / alat bantu perancangan yaitu flowmap, diagram kontek, diagram alir data (DFD),br / dan kamus data. Untuk peancangan basis data digunakan metode normalisasi,br / relasi tabel dan diagram relasi entitas. Implementasi dan perancangan programbr / menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, database My SQL dengan softwarebr / aplikasi Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.br / Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa sistem informasibr / akademik yang berjalan di SMA Sandhy Putra Bandung masih mengalamibr / kendala, dikarenakan seluruh kegiatan pengolahan data akademik dan pendaftaranbr / belum terintegrasi atau masih dilakukan secara manual. Maka dari itu perlubr / dibuatkan rancangan baru kemudian melakukan pengujian dan implementasi. Halbr / ini dapat mengoptimalkan penyampaian informasi karena waktu yang dibutuhkanbr / untuk memenuhi seluruh kebutuhan informasi lebih akurat. Pada akhirnya penulisbr / berharap dengan dibuatnya suatu sistem yang baru dapat membantubr / mempermudah Bagian Tata Usaha dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai penyediabr / layanan informasi akademik.

Therefore it need a new design and then perform thebr / testing and implementation. It can optimize the delivery of information due to thebr / time required to meet all the needs of more accurate information. Ultimately thebr / authors hope that with the establishment of a new system that can help simplifybr / Division of Administration in carrying out his duties as an academic informationbr / service providers.
