Kota Bandung merupakan salah satu kota besar di Indonesia dan merupakan ibukota dari Provinsi Jawa Barat. Kota yang didirikan pada tahun 1810 ini berkembang dengan sangat pesat terutama dibidang pariwisata. Berbekal julukan “Paris van Java”, kota Bandung berkembang menjadi kota dengan penghasilan utama dari perdagangan dan jasa, hal ini terjadi karena di kota ini terdapat banyak sekali objek wisata yang bisa ditawarkan terutama wisata belanja dan wisata gedung gedung bersejarah. Kota yang terletak tidak jauh dari ibukota negara ini juga memiliki sebutan lain, yaitu “Kota Kembang”, karena pada zaman dulu kota ini sangat cantik dengan banyaknya pohon-pohon dan bunga-bunga tumbuh di setiap ruas jalannya. Melihat pesatnya perkembangan dunia pariwisata yang telah terjadi, hal ini tidak selaras dengan informasi yang tersedia. Hal ini karena media dan informasi objek wisata yang disebarkan dirasa masih kurang terutama dalam hal pemetaan objek wisatanya.Dengan pendekatan teknologi diharapkan informasi mengenai pemetaan objek wisata yang berada di Kota Bandung ini bisa tersampaikan dengan mudah kepada masyarakat luas terutama wisatawan. Hal ini, dapat direalisasikan dengan membangun suatu aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) Objek Wisata Kota Bandung berbasis web dimana fitur pemetaannya menggunakan teknologi dari Google Maps API. Agar informasi yang disampaikan lebih interaktif, maka ditambahkan juga fitur Augmented Reality video objek wisata Kota Bandung. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah pemodelan analisis berorientasi objek dengan bahasa pemodelan standar UML (Unified Modeling Language).Aplikasi SIG ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah wisatawan dalam mencari informasi lokasi objek wisata serta mempermudah dalam pencarian rute objek wisata. Setelah melalui tahapan sesuai dengan metode pengembangan yang dipilih maka dalam pengimplementasiannya dilakukan pengujian yang terdiri dari pengujian alpha dan betha. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa secara fungsional sistem sudah dapat menghasilkan informasi yang diharapkan.
