Dalam tugas akhir ini, dilakukan perancangan aplikasi web SIG untukbr /
mengetahui kondisi saluran air dan lokasi sumber air bersih Kota Cimahi. Danbr /
untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, maka diperlukan aplikasi web SIG yangbr /
menyediakan fasilitas-fasilitas yang memberikan kemudahan bagi para pengguna.br /
Hasil dari aplikasi web SIG identifikasi saluran air dan lokasi sumber air bersihbr /
ini yaitu memberi kemudahan kepada pengguna dalam mencari informasi kondisibr /
saluran air dan lokasi sumber air bersih sekaligus peta wilayah Kota Cimahibr /
dengan cepat melalui media internet. Perangkat lunak inti yang dibutuhkan untukbr /
membangun aplikasi web SIG identifikasi saluran air dan lokasi sumber air bersihbr /
Kota Cimahi ini adalah MapServer. Dan untuk merancang tampilan web agarbr /
lebih menarik, maka digunakan perangkat lunak Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.br /
Dalam perancangan Sistem Informasi Geografis identifikasi saluran air danbr /
lokasi sumber air bersih Kota Cimahi ini, metode pengumpulan data yangbr /
digunakan yaitu observasi dan wawancara, metode pendekatan yang digunakanbr /
adalah metode pendekatan terstruktur, metode pengembangan sistemnyabr /
menggunakan model waterfall. Alat Bantu untuk analisis dan perancanganbr /
meliputi flowmap, diagram kontek, data flow diagram relasi tabel, entitybr /
relationship diagram dan kamus data.br /
Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu sebuah Sistem Informasi Geografis identifikasibr /
saluran air dan lokasi sumber air bersih Kota Cimahi yang diharapkan dapatbr /
membantu kinerja Pemerintah Daerah Kota Cimahi untuk mengelola data Saluranbr /
Air dan Sumber Air Bersih Kota Cimahi.
