West Java’s Sekretariat Daerah office was the government organization that belong to Indonesia and one of the function was to improve the quality of officer at Pemerintahan Daerah. The improving quality process of the government officer that happen until now was considered to be less efficient because in the practice to fulfill the government officer’s demand such as promotion and mutation was often late, also causing the increasing pile of data because of the data processing that hasn’t maximizing computer usage.
Information system about promotion and mutation of the government officer, the system development is using system development life cycle ( SDLC ) method. Supported with a modeling system which contains flow map, context diagram, data flow diagram, entity relationship diagram and data dictionary. Those equipment are very useful in analyzing all the promotion and mutation activity.
Rebuilding the system to repair the manual data processing system, managing and quickly give the information when required and also the promotion and mutation of the government officer’s data will be better stored with the computerized system.
