Sistem informasi kerja praktek (KP) pada Prodi Sistem Infomasi UNIKOM Bandung dibangun dengan tujuan mempermudah dan mempercepat proses kerja praktek mulai dari pendaftaran sampai pada mengunggah laporan kerja praktek yang selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penulis menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Adapun pendekatan sistem, penulis menggunakan metode pendekatan objek dengan alat UML model. Untuk metode pengembangan sistem penulis menggunakan metode waterfall. Dan untuk bahasa pemrograman, penulis menggunakan PHP dan database MySQL. Dengan diterapkannya sistem informasi kerja praktek, diharapkan dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat proses kerja praktek (KP) mahasiswa Prodi Sistem Informasi di UNIKOM. Mulai dari proses pendaftaran, Pembuatan surat dan lampiran kerja praktek sampai pada meng-upload soft-copy laporan kerja praktek sehingga dapat mengefisienkan waktu proses.

Information systems practical work (KP) in the department of information systems UNIKOM Bandung constructed in order to facilitate and accelerate the process of practical work ranging from registration to upload reports on practical work that is still done manually. To overcome these problems, the author uses descriptive research methods. As a systems approach, the author uses the method object approach with UML modeling tool. For system development methods the author uses the method waterfall. And for a programming language, the author uses PHP with a MySQL database. With the implementation of information systems practical work, is expected to simplify and accelerate the process of practical work (KP) student information system in UNIKOM Prodi. Starting from the registration process, making the letter and attachments practical work until the upload soft copy reports practical work so as to minimize the time the process.
