Apotek Adi Cipta Parma adalah apotek yang baru berdiri pada pertengahan tahun 2010. Dalam pelaksanaannya sistem yang berjalan di Apotek Adi Cipta Parma dinilai belum optimal. Ini diketahui dari hasil wawancara dan observasi yang dilakukan oleh penulis, hal ini dikarenakan sistem yang digunakan adalah masih manual yang artinya masih menggunakan arsip-arsip dan kertas. Permasalahannya adalah pengendalian stok obat serta pembuatan laporan-laporan, sehingga tidak jelas rincian pendapatan dan pengeluaran yang terjadi. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu sistem informasi yang dapat mendukung aktivitas di perusahaan tersebut. Pengembangan sistem yang digunakan di Apotek Adi Cipta Parma yaitu metode prototype, alat yang digunakan untuk merancang sistem adalah Bagan Alir Dokumen (Flowmap), Diagram Konteks (Contex Diagram), Diagram Alur Data (Data Flow Diagram), dan teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan cara observasi dan wawancara, sedangkan alat pengembangan aplikasi database menggunakan Microsoft SQL Server 2000 dan bahasa pemograman Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Sistem yang dibangun adalah sistem informasi pembelian dan penjualan obat yang sudah terhubung dengan database yang berbasis client-server, sehingga dapat diakses oleh beberapa komputer. Sistem yang dibangun sudah dapat melakukan validasi data, kodefikasi otomatis, serta fasilitas pembuatan laporan-laporan

Adi Cipta Parma pharmacy is a phamacy which newly founded in the middle of year 2010. The Implementation of the system in this pharmacy is looked not optimum. This case is known from interview and observation which has been done by the writer, and it is caused by the system which used in the pharmacy still manually operated which means use archives and papers. The problems are the control of medicine stocks and the construction process of reports, so the details of incomes and outcomes which happen are not clear. So that a system information is needed to support the activities in this corporation. The system development which used in the Adi Cipta Parma pharmacy is prototype method, tools which used to design the system are flowmap, contex diagram, data flow diagram, and the tecnique to collect the data is by doing observation and interview, whereas database application development tools use Microsoft SQL Server 2000 dan programming language is Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. System constructed is medicine purchase and sale information system which has been connected to database which based on client-server, so that the information can be accessed by several computers. System constructed has been able to do data validation, automatic codefication, and some facilities to create reports.
