BORASPATI Bandung is a company engaged in the clothing industry is
located in Bandung. Bandung Boraspati company is using the manual system in
akifitas run business since its establishment in 2008. Systems that run manually
into an obstacle in the progress of daily business activity that continues in a
sustainable menigkat each year. Like stacking documentation, not drafting
properly report and the frequent occurrence of data loss. This study aims to
analyze the running and create a new system design that can provide solutions and
troubleshooting of errors that exist on the old system.
To solve the existing problems in Boraspati Bandung. The authors build an
information system ordering clothing products based on client server by using a
prototype method. The data collection method used was interviews. Interviewing
is a data collection techniques to obtain the data required by way of question and
answer directly to the respondent. Making these systems also utilize several tools
such as flowmap system design, context diagram, data flow diagram, whereas the
database used to design tools such as normalization, entity relational diagram, and
table relationships. Software used to build this system is Visual Basic 6.0 and
SQL Server to build its database.
Information systems built by the author is expected to ease to process
customer data, booking and preparing reports so as to improve the quality of
employment and also increase production output in Boraspati Bandung.
