Data which must be processed and also informed in library of SMA Negeri 2 Bandung are quite a lot, whereas processes of data processing in library of SMA Negeri 2 Bandung still manual generally. The mentioned often generate the problem, in the case of data management, forwarding of information, calculation and report formulation. Information system of Library which has builded expected can assist the staff of library to make, keep the data and also give the amenity in formulating report. Method used in this library information system development is prototype method and exploit some assistive appliance of system scheme such as flowmap, context diagram, data flow diagram, while for the scheme of database the assistive appliance used normalization, entity relational diagram, and relationship tables. Software has been used is Borland Delphi 7 for build the library application and MySql 4.0 for build the library database. Library Information system builded as solution from problems of arising out when existing system still use the way of manual. Information system of Library able to make data swiftly, so that can improve the performance of staff library, quicken library transaction process and also can yield the report required easily, quickly and accurate so decision making process also can be done swiftly and precisely.
