Sistem informasi sudah menjadi bagian yang sangat signifikan dalam perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Adanya sistem informasi penggajian di sebuah perusahaan merupakan hal yang sangat penting, karena dengan adanya Sistem informasi penggajian segala urusan seperti perekapan presensi, proses penggajian yang cepat dan penggajuan kasbon yang dapat diproses secara cepat, tepat dan sesuai. maka secara tidak langsung, urusan atau pekerjaan suatu perusahaan akan lebih mudah, efektif dan efisien. Sistem Informasi penggajian di CV. IdCard Bandung belum sepenuhnya terkomputersisasi dan efektif serta efisien, dalam proses perekapan presensi, perhitungan jam lembur, proses penginputan dalam penggajian, dan pengajuan kasbon. Hal itu memungkinkan terjadinya ketidak akuratan dan lamanya proses dalam perekapan presensi, lama dan kurang akuratnya dalam proses perhitungan gaji, lama dan kurang akuratnya penginputan variable dalam proses penggajian, lamanya penggajuan kasbon dan pelaporannya. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem informasi yang mencakup presensi, penggajian, dan kasbon untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode pendekatan berorientasi objek. Pendekatan berorientasi objek merupakan cara berfikir baru serta berlogika dalam menghadapi masalah-masalah yang akan di atasi dengan bantuan komputer. OOP (Object Oriented Programming) mencoba melihat permasalahan lewat pengamatan dunia nyata dimana setiap objek adalah entitas tunggal yang memiliki kombinasi struktur data dan fungsi tertentu. Untuk metode pengembangan yang digunakan pada sistem yaitu metode pengembangan Prototype. Prototype merupakan suatu metode dalam pengembangan sistem yang menggunakan pendekatan untuk membuat sesuatu program dengan cepat dan bertahap sehingga segera dapat dievaluasi oleh pemakai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis, dapat di ketahui bahwa sistem informasi penggajian yang dirancang di CV IdCard Bandung dapat mempermuda dalam melakukan rekapan data presensi, sudah terintegrasinya presensi dan penggajian, penginputan secara otomatis pada proses penggajian, rekapan dan perhitungan jam lembur sudah otomatis, serta memudahkan karyawan dalam pengajuan kasbon, karena sudah tersedia fasilitas kasbon yang sudah terkomputerisasi. Diharapkan hasil penelitian dari sistem yang diusulkan ini dapat di kembangkan kembali dengan menambahkan proses-proses yang lebih lengkap dan lebih mudah digunakan serta adanya pengembangan pada proses presensi yaitu dengan menggunakan proses presensi sidik jari.
