Photolicious Cafe and Photo Store merupakan salah satu toko yang bergerak dalam bidang penjualan camera dan aksesoris camera. Photolicious Cafe and Photo Store selama ini mempunyai beberapa hambatan dalam hal penjualan.Untuk mengantisipasi masalah tersebut Photolicious Cafe and Photo Store mengambil suatu kebijakan yaitu dengan cara membuat aplikasi penjualan berbasis web. Sistem penjualan berbasis web dinilai dapat lebih efisien sebab dalam sistem penjualan berbasis web dapat menghemat biaya operasional, biaya promosi serta penyampaian informasi tentang camera dan aksesoris yang ada di Photolicious Cafe and Photo Store kepada pelanggan dapat lebih cepat dan mudah.Dalam metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode SDLC (Sytem Development Life Cycle), dan metode pendekatan terstruktur dengan menggunakan alat bantu dalam teknik pengerjaan, seperti Flowmap, Diagram kontek, Data Flow Diagram (DFD). Serta perangkat lunak pendukung Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 dan MySQL.Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti akan merancang sebuah sistem informasi penjualan yang berbasis web yang diharapkan dapat memudahkan dan mengurangi masalah dalam penjualan dan dalam penyampaian informasi camera dan aksesoris dapat lebih cepat.
