Metode yang digunakan selama penelitian adalah meotode penelitian deskritif, metode penelitian eksperimental, metode penelitian tindakan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan cara wawanara dan observasi. Metode pendekatan sistem yang digunakan adalah FlowMap, Diagram Konteks, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Kamus Data, Normalisasi, Tabel Relasi, Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah model prototype. Pembuatan sistem informasi penjualan dan persediaan barang ini menggunakan program Visual Basic 6.0 dan databasenya menggunakan mySQL-front.br /
Dengan diterapkannya sistem informasi penjualan dan persediaan barang ini maka diharapkan akan meningkatkan kualitas pengolahan data dan meningkatkan kualitas informasi yang dihasilkan, dan juga dapat mempermudah pihak-pihak dalam pelayanan informasi sehingga memperkecil kesalahan yang mungkin saja terjadi.

The use of this research is to facilitate the processing of data, to simplify and shorten the time in making these reports The methods used during research is descriptive research method, experimental research methods, action research methods. Data collection methods used were interviews and observations. Method approach of system used is FlowMap, Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Data Dictionary, Normalization, Relation Table, Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). System development method used is a prototype model. The making of system information sale and availability goods is using Visual Basic Program and database use mySQL-front.br /
