Di era globalisasi seperti saat ini dunia teknologi dan informasi perkembangannya sangat pesat, khususnya dunia komputer. Hotel Scarlet Dago merupakan Hotel bintang 3 yang berada di jalan Siliwangi No.5 Dago Bandung. Saat ini prosedural di hotel tersebut untuk melayani para tamu masih dilakukan dengan cara pencatatan seperti, data tamu, data pemesanan/reservasi kamar, check in, check out, dan tambahan fasilitas seperti makanan dan laundry. Permasalahan yang terjadi pemesanan kamar yaitu tamu yang ingin memesan kamar harus datang langsung ke hotel untuk memesan kamar selanjutnya setiap tamu yang ingin menginap, petugas front office akan menuliskan data tamu ke buku arsip tamu dan petugas front office mencek kamar kosong, setelah itu front office membantu tamu untuk check in dan memasukan data kedalam catatan buku check in. Hal itu menyebabkan lamanya memproses data reservasi tamu dan menyebabkan antrian panjang di front office saat banyaknya tamu yang ingin menginap. Desain penelitian ini suatu menggunakan metode deskriptif dan action research. serta teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi sumber data primer yaitu dengan cara observasi langsung ke tempat dan wawancara. Dengan metode pendekatan menggunakan pendekatan berorientasi objek (object oriented) dan pengembangan sistem dengan menggunakan model prototype. Sedangkan pembuatan perangkat lunak menggunakan bahasa php dan database menggunakan MySQL Maka dari itu dibuat suatu sistem informasi reservasi kamar hotel yang menyelesaikan permasalahan di atas. implementasikan sistem informasi meliputi implementasi perangkat lunak, perangkat keras, basis data serta antarmuka dari aplikasi yang dihasilkan. Tahapan akhir adalah pengujian terhadap aplikasi dengan menggunakan metode blackbox.

It causes the length of time to process guest reservation data and cause long queues at the front office as many guests want to stay.The design of this research using descriptive method and action research.as well as data collection techniques used include primary data source that is by way of direct observation to the place and interview. With approach method using object oriented approach (object oriented) and system development by using prototype model. While making the software using php language and database using MySQL Therefore made a hotel room reservation information system that solve the above problems. Implement information systems include implementation of software, hardware, database and interface of the resulting application. The final step is testing the application using the blackbox method.
