Hotel Nusantara merupakan hotel berbasis syariah. Pada saat ini prosedurnya meliputi data tamu, kamar, reservasi, checkin, checkout, restaurant, laundry dan laporan yang pencatatannya dilakukan dalam dokumen manual yang diarsipkan sehingga billing masih terjadi kesalahan perhitungan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi reservasi kamar yang dapat mengefesienkan dan mengefektifkan kinerja yang terjadi di Hotel Nusantara terutama di bagian receptionist. Penulis membangun suatu sistem informasi reservasi kamar pada Hotel Nusantara mengunakan metode pengembangan prototype. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Wawancara dan Observasi. Sistem perancangan menggunakan UML (Unified Modeling Language). Perangkat lunak yang digunakan Java Netbeans, XAMPP dengan database MySql. Sistem informasi yang dibangun oleh penulis dapat digunakan untuk mengolah data tamu pada saat reservasi sampai proses tamu checkout, sehingga dapat mempermudah dalam proses pencarian data, penghitungan biaya keseluruhan dan juga mempermudah dalam proses pembuatan laporan, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas kerja karyawan hotel dan juga meningkatkan mutu pelayanan hotel.

Nusantara Hotel is a syariah-based hotel. The procedure there includes guest data, rooms, reservation, check-in, checkout, restaurant, laundry, and the report that is manually archived, causing mistakes in the billing. That is why it is necessary for the hotel management to have an information system of room reservation that can make the tasks in Nusantara Hotel effective and efficient, especially in receptionist sector. The researcher builds an information system of room reservation in Nusantara Hotel using prototype development method. The method of data collection used in this study is interview and observation. The design system uses UML (Unified Modeling Language), and the software used here is Java Netbeans, XAMPP with MySql as the database. The information system built by the researcher can be used for data processing of guests from the process of reservation to the process of checkout, so that it will be easier in the process of data searching, total expense counting, and the process of writing the report. It improves the quality of hotel staffsÂ’ work and the quality of hotel service.
