Indonesia tercatat memiliki tingkat kriminal yang cukup tinggi terutama perampokan pada saat rumah mereka ditinggalkan pergi oleh pemilik rumah. Sehingga dilakukannya penelitian tentang sistem keamanan rumah terpusat dan terintegrasi melalui smartphone android , rancangan sistem ini menggunakan mikrokontoler Atmega 328 sebagai pengelola inputan dari sensor PIR (Passive Infrared Receiver) dan sensor magnet switch. Aplikasi ini diterapkan di lingkungan perumahan.Hasil pengujian dan analisis sensor PIR (Passive Infra Red) dilakukan dengan cara mengukur jarak antara sensor PIR dengan pergerakan jika jarak jangkauan 0,5 – 5 meter terdeteksi sedangkan pada jarak 6 meter sudah tidak terdeteksi maka akan muncul pemberitahun ke smartphone android berupa notifikasi dan pemberitahuan berupa sinyal ke LCD yang di tempatkan di pos keamanan. Sedangkan pengujian sensor magnet switch jika logika 0 maka magnet switch tidak aktif sedangkan jika logika 1 maka sensor aktif dan akan memberikan pemberitahuan ke smartphone android berupa notifikasi dan pemberitahuan berupa sinyal ke LCD yang di tempatkan di pos keamanan. Sedangkan untuk mengatur jangkauan sensor PIR (Passive Infra Red) mengunakan penghalang pada bagian bawah sensor PIR (Passive Infra Red) sehingga jarak jangkauan dapat diatur tingginya menjadi 1 meter sehingga jika tinggi dibawah 1 meter tidak akan terdeteksi dan hanya medeteksi orang atau manusia.
