At this assigmet has designed control system of switch by through line telephone or network of PSTN ( Public Switch Telephone Network). Line telephone besides as communications, also used for the delivery of data. One of the system delivery of data which was often used that is by using system of DTMF ( Dual Tone Multiple Frequency).
DTMF is delivery of number phone by using two frequency, that is high frequency and low frequency. By using IC MT8870 each emphasis at telephone button can be translated to become digital data in the form of binary data. Binary data which accepted will process by microcontroller to be used as operation of switch.
Appliance have succeeded to be designed and can be controlled from long distance exploited line telephone. The ring detector used as convert of tension of ring voltage ( Vac) become tension with TTL level voltage. So the output of network can be used as switch of controller appliance differentiating condition, is there people or not.
