ABSTRACT
Air conditioning in vehicle or usually we called Car air Conditioning is some of the air conditioning appliance that can take care of dampness, hygiene, and air temperature in car room. Air Conditioning in car give comfort to the passenger and driver, knowledge of this System is very needed. The knowledge about refrigeration system device, electricity control and also from the construction design. So, we will design a training unit of car to support the knowledge especially about it's the electricity control system. At this training unit where it will use 1 phase current / 220 Volt for some of components such as solenoid valve, lamp, HLP, and 3 phase current / 380 volt to move motor and also contactor. And it will be used a transformer and also rectifier network to get tension 12 volt/ DC current. This Tension is used to run magnetic clutch, liquefier fan, and blower evaporator.Based on the result of examination which have been done by 2 times attempt with 2 different chases diameter have been done at System trainer Arrange Air car using R-12. And the current in 1 phase relative constant that is 0.9 A for the chases with diameter of 6" and 1 A for chases with diameter of 11", while at 3 phase current also relative constant at 5 A for chases with diameter of 6" and 6 A for the chases with diameter of 11 ". And for DC current for magnetic clutch relative constant at 2.8 A for the for the chases with diameter of 6" and 11" . And for DC current for fan condenser and blower evaporator relative constant at 6.7 A for the for the chases with diameter of 6" and 11". As a whole can be seen that control electricity systems at training unit of car is relatively stable and work well.
