Ringkasan
Penyakit anak yang disebabkan virus sangat rentan terjadi pada anak-anak, hal
tersebut disebabkan oleh sistem imunitas yang ada didalam tubuh anak belum
terbangun secara sempurna. Kebanyakan dari kalangan orang tua juga sering kali
tidak mengenali gejala-gejala penyakit pada tubuh anak yang timbul diakibatkan
infeksi virus tersebut.
Sistem pakar ini dibangun untuk mendiagnosa penyakit anak yang disebabkan
infeksi virus. Dari sistem pakar ini dapat memberikan informasi mengenai penyakit,
definisinya, pengobatan serta pencegahannya. Sistem pakar ini menggunakan metode
inferensi forward chaining dan metode Certainty Factor.
Hasil uji konsultasi dengan sistem ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu
menentukan penyakit beserta pengobatan dan penanganan awal yang harus dilakukan,
berdasarkan gejala-gejala yang sebelumnya dipilih oleh pengguna.

Childhood diseases caused by viruses are highly vulnerable occur in children,
that caused by the immune system that are in the child's body has not been built
properly. Most of the parents also often do not recognize the symptoms of disease in
the child's body that arises due to virus infection.
This expert system developed to diagnose diseases caused by viral infection of
children. From this expert system can provide information about the disease, by
definition, treatment and prevention. This expert system uses forward chaining
method and the method of Certainty Factor.
Test results of consultation with this system showed that the system is able to
determine the disease and its treatment and early treatment should be done, based on
the symptoms that previously selected by the user.
