Penyakit THT (Telinga Hidung Tenggorokan) merupakan penyebab gangguan kesehatan pada tubuh manusia. Kita sering mengabaikan hal-hal yang penting dalam hidup kita, karena terlalu sibuk dengan kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga kurang memperhatikan kesehatan pada tubuh kita. Gejala ringan yang seharusnya bisa dicegah agar tidak jatuh sakit, tetapi terlambat didiagnosis dan mencapai tahap kronis yang tinggi. Faktor biaya, keterbatasan informasi dan kurang peka terhadap gejala-gejala yang timbul pada tubuh kita menjadi salah satu penyebab terganggunya kesehatan dan dapat menurunkan produktifitas seseorang, karena hal tersebut menghambat aktifitas sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode backward chaining, karena dengan metode backward chaining dapat diketahui solusi dari penyakit yang diderita oleh pengguna sistem pakar ini berdasarkan hasil dari beberapa pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh sistem pakar yang terdiri dari 38 gejala penyakit mendeteksi 22 penyakit THT. Hasil dari menerapkan sistem pakar kedalam aplikasi penyakit THT (Telinga Hidung Tenggorokan) adalah menggunakan aplikasi akan mempermudah dalam mendiagnosa penyakit THT (Telinga Hidung Tenggorokan) dikarenakan lebih cepat dan praktis. Melalui hasil kuisoner dapat disimpulkan 72,05% responden setuju bahwa aplikasi ini bermanfaat untuk masyarakat.

Diseases ENT (Ear Nose Throat) is the cause of health problems in the human body. We often overlook the things that are important in our lives, because it is too busy with daily life so that less attention to the health of our bodies. Mild symptoms that could be prevented from falling ill, but late diagnosis and reached the chronic stage is high. Cost factors, lack of information and less sensitive to the symptoms that occur in our bodies to become one of the causes of health problems and can lower a person's productivity, because it inhibits the daily activities. The method used is the method of backward chaining , because the backward chaining method can be known solutions of the disease suffered by the expert system is based on the results of several questions posed by the expert system that consists of 38 symptoms of the disease detected 22 ENT diseases. The results of applying the expert system application into an ENT diseases is to use application will make it easier to diagnose the ENT diseases due to faster and more practical . Through the results of the questionnaire can be concluded 72.05 % of respondents agree that this application is useful for society .
