Pemilihan supplier yang tepat bagi perusahaan atau dunia industri perlu dilakukan untuk mendapatkan supplier yang benar-benar mampu memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan secara konsisten.
PT. Federal Nittan Industries, merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang engine valve. Pemilihan supplier oleh PT. Federal Nittan Industries adalah salah satu aspek penting yang menjamin kelancaran operasional perusahaaan.
Sementara proses pemilihan supplier dalam sistem pemenuhan bahan baku saat ini dirasa perusahaan kurang efisien, pada saat tertentu perusahaan harus menghubungi satu per satu suppliernya via telepon untuk mendapatkan penawaran terbaik suatu kebutuhan bahan baku tertentu yang tentunya memakan waktu dan kurang efisiensi. Perusahaan juga seringkali merasa kebingungan ketika harus melakukan penilaian untuk mendapatkan satu supplier yang memberikan penawaran serta pelayanan terbaik.
Pada penelitian ini akan diangkat suatu kasus yaitu mencari alternative terbaik bedasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan dengan mengggunakan metode Fuzzy Multiple Attribute Decission Making (MADM) dengan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Metode ini dipilih karena mampu menyeleksi alternative terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif, dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksudkan yaitu menentukan supplier terbaik berdasarkan barang yang disupplai dengan berdasarkan pada kriteria-kriteria yang ditentukan.
Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem yang dibangun dapat membantu kerja bagian purchasing dalam melakukan penyeleksian supplier, mampu menangani pengolahan dan pengelolaan data, dapat mempercepat proses penyeleksian supplier, dan dapat mempermudah staff bagian purchasing dalam menentukan pemilihan supplier yang layak dan tepat.

PT. Nittan Federal Industries, a company engaged in the field of engine valve. Supplier selection by PT. Nittan Federal Industries is one important aspect of ensuring the smooth operations of the company. While the supplier selection process in the system when the raw material is deemed less efficient firms, in particular when the company should contact one by one supplier via the telephone to get the best deals of a particular raw material requirements of the course time consuming and less efficiency. Companies also often feel confused when it comes to doing the assessment to get one as well as suppliers offering the best service.
This research will be appointed a case of finding the best alternative Based on the criteria that have been determined with Fuzzy Multiple Attribute mengggunakan Decission Making (MADM) method Simple Additive weighting (SAW). This method was chosen because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the alternatives are intended which was to determine the best suppliers based on disupplai items based on specified criteria.
Based on test results, a system built to help the working parts purchasing in conducting the screening suppliers, able to handle the processing and data management, can accelerate the process of selecting suppliers, and can simplify the purchasing staff in determining the appropriate supplier selection and appropriate.
