Penentuan jurusan bagi siswa SMA bukan lagi dilakukan saat siswa masuk ke kelas XI akan tetapi saat mereka masuk ke sekolah tersebut. Hal ini menjadikan beban tambahan tersendiri bagi siswa SMP kelas IX yang akan mengikuti Ujian Nasional. Di sisi lain mereka juga harus dapat menentukan kemana sekolah dan jurusan apa yang sesuai untuk mereka ambil. Oleh sebab itu Penulis meneliti masalah tersebut menggunakan metode fuzzy inference system (FIS) mamdani yang menghasilkan output sebagai Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk memberi kemudahan menentukan jurusan sesuai dengan apa yang siswa miliki. SPK sendiri adalah sebuah sistem yang mampu memberikan kemudahan untuk pemecahan sebuah masalah maupun kemudahan untuk mengkomunikasikan masalah dengan kondisi semi terstruktur dan tak terstruktur. Hasil dari SPK adalah sebuah sebuah keputusan yang dapat memebantu dalam pengambilan keputusan. Dengan demikian penulis memilih judul Ãâ SISTEM PENDUKUNG KUPUTUSAN UNTUK PEMILIHAN PENJURUSAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE FUZZY INFERENCE SYSTEM (FIS) MAMDANIÃâ dan di harapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat membantu siswa SMP Khususnya kelas IX untuk menentukan jurusan yang akan di ambilnya sesuai keinginan siswa.

ABSTRACT
Determination of majors for high school students is no longer done when students go to class XI but when they entered the school. It makes a new additional burden for junior high school students of class IX which will follow the National Exam. On the other hand they also must be able to decide where schools and majors what is appropriate for them to take. The writer therefore examine the problem using fuzzy inference system (FIS) mamdani which generates output as Decision Support Systems (DSS) to provide ease of determining the direction in accordance with what the students have. SPK itself is a system that is able to provide convenience to the solution of a problem as well as the ease to communicate problems with the condition of semi-structured and unstructured. SPK is a result of a decision that can help in decision making. the writer therefore chose a title " DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR SELECTION FOR GRADUATES MAJORS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL TO HIGH SCHOOL USING FUZZY INFERENCE SYSTEM (FIS) MAMDANI IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 3 BANGSALSARI" and the expected results of this research can help students of class IX SMP particular to determine the direction you will get it as you wish students.
