The aim of this research is to find out how response the journalism college student of Pasundan University to present of tabloid “Jumpa”. To be able to answer the research problem above, researcher analyse and describe the research problem based on the indicator has decided among other are: graphic element, news value, the content of news and frequency of news realese presentation.
The research is using descriptive method. The respondents are from journalism college of Pasundan University with sum 77 population and sample, sampling technique with used is total sampling. Data Collected through field interview, questioner and book study. Data technique analyse which used are editing, data coding and then tabulate.
Data processing result, show that the element of graphic in tabloid “Jumpa” is interesting and oppropriate eventhough there are some respondents give another valuation. For news value in tabloid “Jumpa”, there are many respondents who give recent valuation, was actual, factual and very close. Content of news in tabloid “Jumpa” show objectively, clearly and completely in every news which reported. In the frequency of tabloid “Jumpa”, respondents give disagree answer to tabloid “Jumpa” view, and agree the news in tabloid “Jumpa” can give information needs.
After got the result of this reseach so, writer conclude that comments the journalism college student of Pasundan University as a good news realese and can information needs.
Suggestion, for redaction tabloid “jumpa” to increasing the quality of news realese, and to quickly the tabloid “Jumpa” view.
