This project report entitled "The Making of a book: ANGKLUNG: the Story behind the Harmony" tells about the process of how to make a book about angklung. The book itself entitled "ANGKLUNG: the Story behind the Harmony" was made in order to inform the readers about angklung briefly such asits history, its types, the way of how to make it, and the way of how to play it. This book only explained about angklung in West Java for the limited time given in finishing the final project. There were several theories included in making this product, those are theory of good writing, theory of you-attitude, theory of writing book, theory of writing style, and theory of audience. Qualitative method was considered as the proper method to be used in data collection process, which is done by browsing the internet and doing some interviews. This is because in making this project, several problems are faced. For example, the lack of book about angklung makes it little bit difficult to collect the data.Another problem also came up in the process of making the book, especially in editing the book which needed more concentration and patience.As the result, this book contains the basic information about angklung which readers may need to know. In the future, this productmay become a reference for the readers to know more about angklung. Moreover it may be used by the government in adding more reference about Indonesian culture heritage, especially angklung.
