Title of this final project is "The Making of a Book on Reviews of Films about Indonesian History and Influential Figures". This project report is written to inform about the detail process of its conduct. In spite of many films about Indonesian history, not all of them present the history accurately. Thus, this project is conducted to provide information about qualified films about Indonesian history and influential figures; so, people could learn history while watching films. To complete the book, some steps are done; from collecting films, selecting the films, reading literature, analyzing the films, writing the reviews, to printing and binding. To develop this project the theories used are: theory of writing, theory of review, and theory of film. After passing some steps, the book could be completed. There are seven films reviewed and the titles are written as follows: Pahlawan Goa Selarong, Max Havelaar, Tjoe`t Nja Dhien, R. A. Kartini, Ketika Bung di Ende, Sang Kiai, and Soekarno. The reviews are arranged chronologically based on events in the films. Furthermore, there is additional information about the film, such as: director, actors, scriptwriter, production year, awards, and rating. It is expected that after the book is published, people would be selective and aware about the accuracy of the history contents in the films; hence, the viewers will not only be entertained but also get knowledge from the films.
