The title of this project is The Making of a Book "Tasikmalaya Batik and Its Story". This product was made to introduce batik of Tasikmalaya both tulis and cap, and to give information on how to make batik commonly. In addition, the readers can see the choices of Tasikmalaya batik motifs, so they can be more interested in wearing batik. The data were collected by doing literature study, interviewing, observing, and taking pictures. After collecting data, the next steps were transcribing, interpreting, prewriting, writing, revising, designing, printing, and binding. There are some writing styles that have been applied in making this product, such as recount text, procedural writing, descriptive writing, and kind of sentences. The result of this project is a book about Tasikmalaya batik which is written in English, so it can be read by foreigner also who want to know about Tasikmalaya batik.
