The project is making an English and Indonesian proverb collection. Proverbs are not quite familiar for people, and most books and articles about proverb just write the English proverbs or Indonesian proverbs without making the equivalent. Some people do not know the equivalent of English and Indonesian proverbs and just translate them literally. This collection was made in order to help readers to know and to learn English and Indonesian proverbs which are equivalent and to be familiar with the proverbs. The data was collected by doing library study. The result for this project is a collection book titled English Proverbs & Indonesian Equivalents. The book is also completed by the meanings, the examples written in English and Indonesian and the short explanations.
