Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, has been known as the place where MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conference, Exhibition) held which is followed by people from foreign countries. Things that usually cross their mind when visiting Jakarta are traffic jam, dense residents, and very busy city. However, they do not know there is a very historical place on the corner of Jakarta which becomes a tourism attraction, that is Kota Tua. Also, less publication of a detailed and English version guide book form of Kota Tua adds the impact towards their ignorance. Therefore, the making of a guide book on Kota Tua entitled Exploring the Most Historical Place in Jakarta is proposed to give the information about Kota Tua in the form of guiding foreign tourists in exploring Kota Tua and promoting Kota Tua as the most historical place in Jakarta. Qualitative Descriptive Method is applied in making the guide book and the writing techniques applied are descriptive technique, a little bit persuasive and instructive technique. The guide book presents list of places in Kota Tua along with each historical background and general also additional information which are related to the places. The physical look of the guide book is A5 sized art paper with 100 grams for the content and 310 grams laminated by doff layer for the cover to make it looks interesting. Orange color and many pictures dominate the book, and design motives at each corner of the book also represents historical impression of Kota Tua. Therefore, this guide book on Kota Tua gives benefits to many stakeholders such as guide the foreign tourists in exploring Kota Tua and promote places and buildings which are very historical in Jakarta as the interesting tourist attraction to visit.
