This final project is about making a mini encyclopedia on Sundanese mythological characters for children. This final project is one of the tools for promoting Sundanese culture and enriching children knowledge of Sundanese culture. The Sundanese culture here is the Sundanese mythological characters. The Sundanese mythological characters were selected based on the consideration of the amount of the characters information that exist on several sources. In order to deliver the information of the Sundanese mythological characters, a mini encyclopedia is selected as the media. In conducting the content of the mini encyclopedia, the qualitative method of collecting data was used. This project uses interview and library study as the ways to collect data. In addition, this project applies several theories. The theories are the theory of encyclopedia, writing techniques, writing styles, mythology, and designing. As a result, this project produces a mini encyclopedia written in English. The mini encyclopedia consists of six sections. The mini encyclopedia applies descriptive and narrative writing techniques in order to deliver the content clearly. This mini encyclopedia is also designed in colorful cover, background, and illustrators, so the audience might be interested in reading and enjoying the mini encyclopedia telling about Sundanese culture.
