This final project is about the making of a promotional video using English on Ternate. The aim is to promote Ternate as a tourist destination to a large number of people, especially to International tourists. The main theories used in making this promotional video are tourism, video production, and persuasive language. The tourism consists of tourism marketing, and the video production consists of pre-production which includes the theories on the use of persuasive language in writing script and voice over, production, post-production, and distribution. The data of this project were collected by qualitative methods such as data from published work and interview. This project produces an eight-minute promotional video on Ternate entitled One Destination, Thousands Stories which can be an additional marketing tool for tourism official and the local government of Ternate to promote Ternate as a tourist destination.
