This final project report is about the making of a travel book about Dieng, a village in Central Java. Dieng was chosen as the object of writing because the lack number of visitors to Dieng based on the data in 2017 in spite of its high tourism potential, and there are still few travel writings about Dieng which none of them is written in English. The aim of this project is to develop a travel book presenting Dieng in order to introduce Dieng to the readers, persuade the reader to go to Dieng, and entertain the readers by sharing a personal travel experience in Dieng. The data to develop the book was obtained through library study, observation that is the personal travel experience and interview during the trip. Moreover, several theories regarding travel writing, writing style and design are applied in this project. The result of this project is a travel book presenting a personal travel experience in Dieng that is written in English, and this book hopefully will be a useful reference for the people who are looking for a travel book about Dieng and people who are interested in Dieng.
