The content of the final project report is about the making of a travel book that tells stories of taking staycation to attractions that have relation with culture, art, and science in Bandung. The travel book about taking a staycation is made as many people are not familiar with the term staycation. Moreover, the book is made to give some references of interesting destinations in Bandung that could be visited by Bandung resident, local tourists, or foreign tourists. The book is developed through several steps that begin with collecting information about the related places, surveying the places, planning itinerary, doing the observation, selecting appropriate photographs, making an outline, writing, designing, editing and revising, proofreading, and printing. Some theories applied in developing the book are definition of staycation, definition of tourist attraction, definition of culture, definition of art, definition of science, definition of travel writing, and writing techniques. The result of the final project conducted is a travel book entitled Once Upon a Staycation: A Tale of Hometown Exploration. It is expected that the book could attract more people to do staycation and could give information about attractions in Bandung. The book could also be used as a reference of places in Bandung that could be visited to spent short vacation.
