This final project is about the making of a travel poetography book about Makassar. The aim is to make a travel poetography book in order to gain more people's interest in reading poetry, to introduce several tourist attractions around Makassar and to make poetography more popular among people. The theories applied are classified into travel, photography and poetry. The theory of travel includes the types of tourist attraction, and the applied theory of photography consists of fine art photography and the techniques of photography. Moreover, the theories of poetry are elements of poetry, poetry forms, capitalization and punctuation in poetry. The method used in collecting the data was qualitative methods such as library study, interview and observation. The observation was done by visiting the tourist attractions in Makassar. The result of this project is a travel poetography book entitled A Journey to Makassar through Poetography. The book consists of six chapters. It is hoped to increase the interest in poetry and the people's interest in visiting Makassar. Keywords: Travel, poetry, photography, poetography, Makassar.
