This final project is about the making of an informational book about Batik of Kabupaten Bandung Barat titled Batik: "The Hidden Gem in Kabupaten Bandung Barat". There was no informational book either in English or in Bahasa Indonesia about Batik of Kabupaten Bandung Barat, therefore this project was conducted in order to introduce the various batik motifs of Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Besides, it is also to introduce Kabupaten Bandung Barat as creative batik industry from West Java. The information are about history of batik in general, the history of Kabupaten Bandung Barat batik, the users and promotions, the dyeing technique, and the galleries are provided in this project. The theories used in this project are theory of informational book, characteristic of informational book, tenses, and theory of writing techniques, and the brief information about Bandung Barat and batik. The data collection is done in four steps, those are doing library study, observing, interviewing, and taking picture.
